Today’s busy world cannot give life a brake to slow it down. Day after day, a new burden is added to our lives, and our working life becomes stressful, personal life challenging, and daily demands overwhelming. But now, with a stride forward into ancient practices, there is a tool to calm the mind and help stress relief in mindfulness.
What is Mindfulness?
Mindfulness is the art of staying in the present by observing sensations, emotions, and thoughts without judgment. Mindfulness encourages a person to stay in the present and avoid thinking about the past or thinking ahead for the future. This, in fact, helps clear up mental debris and enables better stress management. It’s not a suppression of emotions but a calm observation of them that allows for more thoughtful responses than emotional reactions.

How Mindfulness Relieves Stress?
In reaction to the stress-induced fight or flight, the body has its chemicals to be released: cortisol and adrenaline. While these hormones are excellent at certain times, overexposure leads to anxiety that quickly develops into health issues. Mindfulness slows the same response down, as it calms both mind and body.
