Hello, people! Recently, I really went through a pretty terrifying experience, and I wanted to share it with you. This was indeed the first time in my life that I had genuinely encountered sleep paralysis, and it really shook me up. Here’s what happened.
It was October 4th night when I was doing probably something that I shouldn’t have been doing at 3 AM — listening to horror stories. It’s that feeling when everything is more charged up, and the dark itself seems to have a life. It had really vivid creepiness inside my head, but I eventually dozed off. However, it was no peaceful rest. It only came to that for one hour, and that was when this nightmare began, but this time, it felt so real.

Suddenly, I was awake. Or so I assumed. My eyes opened, and my body stayed still. At first, I wasn’t concerned; within seconds, however, a horrifying pressure descended upon me. It was as if something — or maybe someone — had lain down on top of me, pressing me into the bed with unnatural force. I was feeling the tightness of my chest, as if someone had tied it up with a heavy weight, then it was becoming hard for me to breathe. I was trying to get up and just wriggle my fingers or lift my leg but I could not do that either. It was as if my body was no longer mine.
